I’ve always envisioned Starfall Catastrophe as more than just another trading card game. Yes, our cards are beautiful, collectible, and worthy of any display shelf — but I want the world to know us for our gameplay, for the thrill of each decision, and for the way battles unfold.
That’s why so much of my time has gone into developing and refining the gameplay mechanics — especially simulating battles until they feel fluid, tactical, and rewarding. Creating a great card game isn’t just about rules; it’s about building an experience players want to return to again and again.
But here’s the truth: great gameplay takes time. Time to test, to balance, to refine every interaction. And while we could keep perfecting forever, I know we risk never launching.
So I’m drawing a line — a thin line between reaching for gameplay greatness and taking that bold step to launch. The reality is that without launching, we won’t have the funding to push gameplay to its full potential. The sooner we launch, the sooner we can invest in enhancements, expansions, and the fun features that will grow with our community.
I’m still fine-tuning the gameplay for launch — ensuring it’s engaging on Day One — but I’m building it with the future in mind. When Starfall Catastrophe grows, our gameplay will grow with it.
This is more than just a game — it’s a journey. And it’s almost time to take that next step together.
